Yes, it has been a long long time since I have checked in.
I know it has been a long time,
because I have been getting some very sweet
emails from concerned bloggy friends,
as well as some phone calls
and even packages of coffee coming to my door.
So......what I have I been up to?
Well, quite a bit actually.
I will be putting up some posts
with some of my creations from the
last several months very soon.
But first some newsy stuff.......
The top photo was taken
by my Hot Rockin' Hubby at Disneyland
last month.
Yes, we moved India back to the Disney College Program
and managed to get a few days in the parks.
Ahnalin was really sleepy in that picture,
but it was one of the few that shows me.
It was FREEZING in Anaheim when we were there!
I mean, actually in the 30s!
We were not prepared for cold weather to be sure.
We got to ride "Radiator Springs Racers" in Cars Land
and it is awesome!
We moved India in to her apartment with
her new Disney College Program roommates.
And we are so happy for them all.
They are a great group of girls!
Here is a rather charming bit of irony......
India's boyfriend Nate,
who played "Gaston" in Santa Rosa's production
of "Beauty And The Beast"
is now in Florida at the Disney College Program
in Disney World.
They met while being in the show together.
India played a "Silly Girl"
And they both applied to the DCP before
they started dating.
And even though thousands
and thousands of students applied for the program,
they were both chosen..........
to OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE COUNTRY!
Oh don't be silly!
Everyone was very sad the day we loaded the van....
AND I DO MEAN LOADED(!!)
to drive India to Anaheim.
But we did move her in and
she is now working at Disneyland again,
taking her college classes
both through her college and
also the Disney classes.
We miss her.
But life is changing for us too.
Don has accepted a job to a new company
in the San Francisco Bay Area,
and we will be moving next month!
And I have been sewing and writing
and drafting patterns,
as well as looking for places to move
and schools for Ahnalin
and starting to pack,
and lots of other things.
But I promise I am back to blogging.
Thank you for all the kind emails
and messages and prayers.
I appreciated them all!
Happy Sewing!

It is soooo good to hear from you and to know all is well. You sure do have a lot of change going on in your life! It is a wonder that you can find any time at all to sew. God is giving you great new adventures and opportunities to make new discoveries about yourself and to make new friendships. You know you are never alone. "Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you." Matthew 7:7 Blessings for a wonderful, exciting, and happy move.
I am so glad to hear from you, Sivje. Sounds like life is good and that is wonderful. I wish Don the best of luck in his new position. Kudos to you for not hesitating to move to help your situation. A woman of decision and I admire that!
I am looking forward to your posts and seeing your new creations.
Congratulations to India and to Don for his new job. I hope you find somewhere wonderful to live, and that Ahnalin settles into her new school when the time comes.
I have been wondering about you. Hope to hear more from you. Good luck to you and our family.
Yay! Glad you're back. I've been wondering how you've been doing and what creations you have been creating! Good luck with the move!
